Learn 3D by building real things.

Draw furniture the way a workshop makes it, board by board, right here in your browser. Free, with nothing to download and no account.

  • Five lessons, about an hour
  • On a computer, tablet or phone
  • Every board checked to 1 mm

How a lesson works

The same three steps, every lesson.

  1. 1

    Watch it done

Each step is acted out first: the tool lights up, the pointer drags, the size is typed into the Measurements box, the board appears.

  2. 2

    Do it in the model

The tools work the way they do in SketchUp: Rectangle, Push/Pull, Move, the arrow keys that lock an axis. Each step ticks itself once your model has it.

  3. 3

    Check your work

Check my work measures every board to the millimetre and tells you which one is wrong and why: too long, too far left, turned the wrong way.

Courses

Each one builds one real thing from start to finish.

Cabinet making in 3D

Draw a real 1000 × 2100 × 600 wardrobe the way a workshop cuts it: the box, the back and plinth, shelves that fit, doors with the right gaps, and a filler scribed to a wall that isn't straight.

For carpenters, joiners, kitchen fitters and anyone who wants to plan furniture properly.
