The boards

Every size in millimetres, worked out from the wardrobe's 1000 × 2100 × 600.

  • Lower shelf

    960 × 580 × 18

    964 inside − 2 − 2 = 960 wide; 600 − 18 back − 2 at the front = 580 deep.

2 in from each side, 2 back from the front, touching the back, its top 1300 from the floor.

  • Upper shelf

    960 × 580 × 18

The same as the lower shelf: 960 × 580.

Right above the lower one, its top 1700 from the floor (400 higher).

Stuck?Show a hint

Inside the box is 1000 − 18 − 18 = 964, and the shelf is 2 shorter at each end so it slides in: 960. It's 600 − 18 back − 2 at the front = 580 deep. Drawn on the bottom its top is at 100 + 18 + 18 = 136, so it goes up 1300 − 136 = 1164.
